Tomato firmware gives you the ability to setup a MAC filter. A MAC filter allows you to setup a rule that either allows or denies access to your network based on the MAC address of that device. It’s not at the top of the list for home network security. Nor is it entirely bulletproof. But a MAC filter does provide a little more control over your home network.
